CLASS-XI PROMOTION RESULT 2022-2023

The long-awaited outcome for the CLASS-XI PROMOTION RESULT 2022-2023 has finally been revealed! As providers of exceptional education, it is our obligation to shed light on the intricate process of how these results are meticulously computed and analyzed.

To ascertain a student’s marks for each subject, a scrupulous approach is taken, involving two categories of assessment for subjects without practicals, and three categories for subjects with practicals. This may be a challenging process, but it ensures just and precise evaluation of a student’s performance.

For subjects without practicals, marks are obtained from the Internal Evaluation Scheme (IES) and the Promotion Exam. The IES is composed of 20 marks, with 5 allotted to attendance, 10 to assignments, and 5 to the better of the first and second term exams. The Promotion Exam carries a substantial 80 marks, and to succeed, students must achieve a score exceeding the IES pass mark of 7 and the Promotion Exam pass mark of 26. To be eligible, students must also pass in a minimum of five subjects.

Subjects with practicals necessitate a more thorough evaluation method. In addition to the IES and Promotion Exam, practical marks carry 10 marks and necessitate a minimum pass mark of 3. Promotion Exam carries 70 marks and requires a minimum pass mark of 23. All three assessments must be passed to pass the subject, and students must pass in a minimum of five subjects.

The science and commerce streams have their own distinctive requirements. For commerce, four subjects are mandatory: English, Mizo, Accountancy, and Business Studies, while better marks from Business Maths or Economics are included in the mark calculations to make it five subjects. Science students must take English, Physics, and Chemistry, while Mizo, if taken, is obligatory for passing. To make up the remaining two subjects for mark calculation, Bio, Maths, and Geology are feasible choices. Students must pass in a minimum of five subjects as well.

It is evident that achievement in these exams necessitates dedication, hard work, and an in-depth understanding of the material. All of the mark collections and calculations follow the rules and regulations prescribed by the MBSE, ensuring an unbiased and equitable evaluation of a student’s performance.
