The Boys’ Hostel of Government Mizo Higher Secondary School was inaugurated by Shri J. H. Biakmawia Joint Director, School Education Department on 15th May 2012 to provide safe and convenient accommodation for students. After undergoing major renovation, the hostel was re-dedicated on 2nd June 2022 by Shri P. C. Lalmuanpuia, Hon’ble MLA of Aizawl North-III Constituency.
The hostel facilities include single rooms, double rooms, and dormitories, designed to meet the diverse needs of students. It serves as a supportive environment where boarders can focus on their studies while enjoying a sense of community and discipline.
The hostel is administered by the School Hostel Managing Board, which oversees its smooth functioning and ensures the welfare of the residents. At present, the hostel is managed on a daily basis by one warden, assisted by a cook, who together look after the needs of the students and maintain a homely atmosphere.
