Together for Clean Air and Climate Change for health of School

Yesterday, we had the privilege of participating in an insightful online video conference dedicated to the critical topics of clean air and climate change, both of which have a profound impact on our health and well-being. It was heartening to witness not only our fellow students’ enthusiastic participation but also the active involvement of our school as a whole. The event was orchestrated by the National Platform for Clean Air and Climate Health (NPCCHH), a pioneering organization dedicated to tackling environmental challenges.

During the morning assembly today, our school’s principal delivered a thought-provoking address. She emphasized the importance of raising awareness about clean air and climate change within our school community, recognizing that education is the first step toward positive change. This commitment to awareness was further reinforced this morning during our school’s morning assembly.

The principal’s speech served as a catalyst for initiating a dialogue within our school about the urgent need for action in the face of environmental challenges. Clean air and climate change are issues that affect us all, transcending age and background. By fostering awareness and encouraging proactive engagement, we are taking a significant step towards safeguarding our health and that of future generations.

This online conference and our school’s active involvement in it have laid the foundation for a broader and more holistic approach to environmental education within our institution. As students, we have the responsibility to not only stay informed but also to actively advocate for clean air and climate action. We look forward to the continued collaboration with NPCCHH and the progress we can collectively make in building a healthier and more sustainable future. Together, we can make a difference, one step at a time
