Beauty & Wellness

Beauty & Wellness was introduced at Govt Mizo Higher Secondary School in 2023 after the Central Government removed the Assistant Nurse (HealthCare) trade from Vocational Education. The school hired alumna Lalnunthari Chhakchhuak, who holds a Diploma in Cosmetology and Beauty, to teach the subject. Initially, there were no materials or tools for the Beauty & Wellness course, as the school had previously offered Healthcare. However, the necessary tools and materials have since been collected, and the school is now fully equipped.

Lalnunthari Chhakchhuak is an experienced professional who also works in various beauty-related roles after school hours. Her expertise and public speaking skills are expected to greatly benefit the students, enhancing their learning experience in Beauty & Wellness.
