Drug Abuse Prevention Awareness
Today, our students (Arts Stream) participated in the Drug Abuse Prevention Awareness program, a collaborative effort between the Central Young Mizo Association (CYMA) and our school’s National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit. This initiative was executed under the banner of the ‘District Level Task Force on Ruihhlo Do‘. We were honored to have Sir Lalnithanga, our senior lecturer, and dedicated NSS Program Officer, grace the event with his presence.
During the program, our students gained valuable insights and knowledge about the pressing issue of drug abuse prevention. The collaboration between CYMA and our NSS Unit exemplified a strong commitment to addressing this critical concern within our community.

As the NSS Program Officer and a representative of our school, Sir Lalnithanga expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the CYMA team for their efforts in organizing such an informative and enlightening program. He acknowledged the importance of raising awareness about drug abuse prevention and emphasized the role our school plays in promoting a healthier and safer environment for our students and the community at large. Sir Lalnithanga’s words of appreciation and encouragement resonated with all in attendance, inspiring us to continue our collective efforts in combating drug abuse within our district.
