FOUNDATION DAY OF UNION TERRITORIES – JAMMU & KASHMIR LADAKH AT RAG BHAVAN, AIZAWL

Nine students along with their two teachers, Miss Lalremmawii (Commerce Lecturer) and Miss Lianchhingpuii  (English Lecturer), proudly represented our school at the grand Celebration of the State and Union Territory Foundation Day event held at the prestigious Raj Bhavan in Aizawl. This event embodied the essence of the ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Programme,’ which strives to foster unity by connecting various states through the rich tapestry of languages, cultures, traditions, music, tourism, cuisine, sports, and the exchange of best practices.

During this special occasion, we joined in commemorating the Foundation Day of two Union Territories, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, right there at Raj Bhavan in Aizawl. The highlight of the event was the captivating and awe-inspiring speed and cultural presentations, showcasing the diverse traditions of Ladakh. It was a rare and enriching opportunity for our students to witness this mesmerizing display of Ladakhi culture.

Our students, who had the privilege of attending this event, were overjoyed by the experience. The Raj Bhavan is a place that many had only dreamed of visiting, and to be part of such an important celebration was an honor. Interacting with the students and delegates from Ladakh and having the chance to converse with the Governor of Mizoram were truly once-in-a-lifetime experiences for our students and the teachers who had the pleasure of accompanying them. It was a day filled with cultural exchange, new friendships, and a deeper understanding of the rich diversity that unites our nation.
