School Closure due to heavy rain, thunderstorm

Notice of School Closure on 29th May 2025

As per the Public Notice issued by the Disaster Management & Rehabilitation Department, Government of Mizoram (Vide No. B.13018/2/2025-DM&R dated 28th May 2025), and based on alerts from the India Meteorological Department – Regional Meteorological Centre, Guwahati, and Meteorological Centre, Aizawl, regarding the forecast of heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds, all schools across the state will remain closed on 29th May 2025.

This precautionary measure is taken in the interest of student safety and to prevent any potential disaster, in consultation with the Disaster Management & Rehabilitation Department.

We advise all students, parents, and staff to stay safe and follow updates from official sources.
